Early in life I was pretty much in control, mentally and physically. I held down a demanding job, was involved in many after work activities, took college courses and was physically active. I dressed in silk suits, wore 3” heels, exchanged quips with CEOs, and argued with investment bankers.
Then, I had children.
I not only lost my slim hips, tucked waist and perky chest but, according to my progeny, I also lost my ability to grasp a situation and react in a sane and responsible manner. In their eyes I am, an out-of-touch, over-reactive, misguided soul that needs constant direction and instruction.
And I dress funny!
